c1370-90 Man and wife holding hearts, possibly of the Redford / Retford family lords of the manor..
Perhaps Sir Ralph de Retford who served on various commissions for sewers and dykes in the region between 1349-1374. He owned the manor of Castlethorpe in Broughton, also (held of the Neville fee) the manors of Irby on Humber and Rothwell.
He is believed to be the father of Sir Henry Redford / Retford 1409 whose effigy is nearby

датировка установлена предположительно 1390? по аналогичным комплексам - см. P0550 (1395 и 1404), но наш памятник чуть раньше - нет декоративных окантовок на крыльях налокотников, полунаголенник полностью охватывает голень
