1405 Thomas son and heir of Robert Frevile / Freville 1393 and Clarice stands with his widow Margaret 1410
It was probably Margaret who added the south chapel

At Little Shelford, in Cambridgeshire, is another twin brass, that of Sir R. de Freville and his wife. The date of this is approximately 1405, and one notices the jewel-studded belt and the small plates at the knight's armpits.

Thomas de Frevile was the son and heir of Robert and Clarice de Frevile, succeeding on their deaths as lord of Shelford Manor. Of him, we know little except that he died in 1405. His wife Margaret lived another five years, and it was she who apparently founded the chantry or south chapel and commissioned the brasses for herself and her husband Thomas and for his parents, Robert and Clarice Frevile. Thiswould account for her being depicted in widow’s dress.
