Tomb of Sir John Flambard.
In the chancel are also the following tombs, that of Sir John Flambard (Weever mentions also the tomb of Edmund Flambard and Elizabeth his wife. See Funeral Monuments, edit. 1631, p. 531.), (no date,) about the reign of Edward III.: it has a figure in brass of the deceased, under a canopy, armed with a helmet, mail-gorget, &c. a dog at his feet; beneath is the following inscription, in which the name of Flambard is divided in a singular manner:
"Jon me'do marmore numinis ordine Flam tumlat
Bard quoque verbere Stigis e fune[..] hic tueatur."

но найти изображение плиты John'а не удалось
