A mid 15th century Tyrolean wooden figure of Saint Adrian., Hl. Adrianus
Carved in the round and partially freestanding. With partially overpainted, possibly original polychromy. A standing figure of the Saint turned to the side. He is dressed in knight's attire and holds an anvil in his hands, symbolising the anvil upon which his legs were broken during his martyrdom.
The left hand lost. Minor additions to the plinth. Wear. Height 64 cm.
